More than 50% of people who struggle with anxiety do not get treatment because they can't afford therapy, don't want to spend the time required, or they feel ashamed. There are few effective self-help solutions for people with mild forms of anxiety. Pocketcoach is a digital coach for those people. It guides users through conversations that teach them skills to better cope with thoughts and emotions. Users go through one conversation per day. Each takes 3-5 minutes and covers one lesson or introduces a new technique. Those conversations build on each other and form programs which we call chapters. Each chapter focuses on a scientifically-validated topic (eg. Reframing negative thoughts, Dealing with panic attacks, Learning mindfulness meditation) and takes on average two weeks to complete. Pocketcoach has 10,000 users on the Facebook Messenger chatbot, and is about to be launched as an IOS and Android app.
