Adding a Message
Select the Bot Says button to add a message as the chatbot or assistant, or the User Says button in case you want to create a message from the user’s point of view.
Windows similar to the following ones will appear on the side of the conversation:
These windows differ from platform to platform, but all follow a similar logic.
You can change the type of message you want to create by selecting one of the tabs at the top of the input section:
Compose your message, then, when you’re done, click on the to add your message to the conversation.
Let’s see what happens:
Woo hoo! You’ve successfully added the first message to your conversation.
And by the way, you can also start adding a message by clicking on the big button at the bottom of the canvas, convenient!
Editing a Message
So you have added a message but you are not sure about its content. Let’s edit the message!
To do so, click on a message you’ve already created. A new “Edit Message” window will shop to the side of the canvas:
Change the content of the message, then click on to save your edits.
If you want to change the message’s format, you can instead create a new message with the right format, and delete your current message.
Alternatively, you can open the Edit Message window by clicking on the button inside the Quick Access Buttons view.
Cloning a Message
Good news, you can clone messages to fasten your work and quickly add similar messages to the conversation.
Click on an existing message in the canvas, the Edit Message window will appear. Click on to clone the message.
The cloned message will appear in the canvas just after the original message.
Timing a Message
When adding or editing a message, you can change how long should this message be shown in the Preview Mode.
To do so, click on the button inside the Add Message/Edit Message window, then select the correct time by moving the slider.
You can change the Message timing from 0.5 seconds to 40 seconds!
So you want to change the order of the messages in your conversation. That’s easy!
Click and hold on any message in the canvas, then drag the message to the new position you want it to occupy...then drop it!
You have successfully reordered your messages, success.
Undoing / Redoing a single action

Click on Edit on the top left menu, then choose Undoing the last action, or Redoing the last reverted action.
Additionally, you can quickly Undo/Redo the last actions by using the CTRL+Z and CTRL+SHIFT+Z keyboard shortcuts.
