The role

You will be joining our growing Product team to help craft and define Botsociety’s voice. We are a small, multi-disciplined team seeking our newest member. You will be tasked with the creation of user-facing content. High quality, comprehensive documentation, guides, and copy. You will be working alongside our CEO, UX lead and product manager, as well as with our engineers to craft a clear, cohesive narrative across all of our applications.

This role comes with a lot of ownership and allows you to have an incredibly large impact on our organization’s most important efforts. You act as a constant advocate for clear communication and consistent brand voice. If you are looking for a team that values the importance of your creativity, and your contribution and allows you to focus your time and energy on creating exceptional work — we are here and ready to get started.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the CEO, the UX lead and product to create enticing, high quality, insightful UX guides, tutorials and documentation
  • Own the content library — review, and audit to identify key opportunities and gaps, create and socialize updates and new styles, collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize and harmonize communications across the product.
  • Develop feature content and communication strategies as concepts become prototypes and beyond.
  • Be willing to own the successes or failures of your work and proactively work to iterate and improve.
  • Obsess and understand that the details are not the details, they are the foundation of your contributions.

Requirements

  • You’re a self-starter with the passion to actively seek new approaches
  • You understand the nuances inherent in your work and how that help customers comprehend and use a new product category.
  • You are capable of articulating and advocating for your point of view.
  • You possess an acute inclination toward the difference between a good and bad experience for our users.
  • You work towards the best possible solution, not just the easiest one.
  • You’re an excellent communicator. Whether writing for a new feature, or presenting your work to the team, it’s simply part of the process for you.
  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Bonus points

  • You have experience with conversational interfaces
  • You have a portfolio that includes 2 to 3 projects that detail content strategy, ux writing, along with goals and results.
