Botsociety is looking for an Account Executive to join our dynamic, remote team. You can be anywhere on the West Coast (PST timezone).

Botsociety empowers creatives worldwide in designing voice and chat experiences. Our users have designed 4M+ messages on Botsociety, working on their next voice or chat interface project. We aim to be the next Adobe. By joining our team, you will help shape the creative suite of the future.

Our Enterprise clients include Fortune 500 companies such as Google, Accenture, and Air France, to name a few. We raised a seed round from Google and 500Startups. We have two teams, distributed on the PST and CET time zones. We have offices in San Francisco, CA, and Milan, Italy. We are not using our offices during the current pandemic.

The Role

You aren’t the typical salesperson, and we aren’t the typical design tool company. At Botsociety we think outside the box, and we expect you to do the same. With this role you’ll get in at the ground floor in a growing tech startup. You’ll consult with both our existing customer base and prospective customers to drive meaningful relationships that add value to the customer experience as well as revenue to our bottom line.

This role comes with a lot of ownership and allows you to have an incredibly large impact on our organization’s most important efforts. You’ll act as a constant advocate of our customers’ needs and projects. You will need to have an agile, dynamic mindset, be comfortable embracing change, a true team-player, and love working with both our customers and the Botsociety team.

What you’ll do
Your main objective will be to increase the Botsociety client base. Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Build a strong sales pipeline while exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure sales effectiveness
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within Enterprise accounts
  • Be part of a team dedicated to promoting Botsociety to existing and new customers
  • Help build the foundation and processes for customer facing teams at Botsociety
  • Articulate and illustrate conversation design best practices
  • Obsess and understand that the details are not really details, they are the foundation of your contributions

What we value

  • At least 1 year of sales experience in a SaaS business, ideally focused on Enterprise
  • Experience in selling to technical audiences
  • Proven ability to close complex sales cycles
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands from customers and balance their needs against those of the business
  • A real entrepreneurial mindset
  • Problem solving skills, a great attitude, and a fighting spirit
  • Experience with UX/UI design principles
  • Proficiency with sales and marketing automation tools
  • You’re an excellent communicator
  • You work towards the best possible solution, not just the easiest one
  • You are on the PST timezone
  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Bonus points if

  • You have experience with conversational interfaces
  • You have experience with Botsociety or similar tools
