We are looking for an Account Manager for our distributed, remote sales team. You can be anywhere on the West Coast (PST timezone).

About us

Botsociety empowers creatives worldwide in designing voice and chat experiences. Our users have designed 3M+ messages on our platform, working on their next voice or chat interface project. We aim to be the next Adobe. Our clients include Google, Accenture, Air France, and many more. We raised a seed round from Google and 500Startups.

We have two teams, distributed on the PST and CET timezones. We have offices in San Francisco, CA, and Milan, Italy. We are not using our offices during the current pandemic.

The role

You will be joining our growing sales team to help build our Customer Success function. Our customers are design teams from enterprise companies in many different verticals. You will be in charge of making sure that they all are successfully designing the next generation of conversational interfaces. Given the company expertise in the field of conversation design, expect to learn a lot from our training sessions.
This role comes with a lot of ownership and allows you to have an incredibly large impact on our organization’s most important efforts. You act as a constant advocate of customer needs, roadblocks, and projects. You will be working closely with the Account Manager and the CEO on our biggest accounts.


  • Consult different design teams on how to make the best use of our conversation design suite
  • Articulate and illustrate conversation design best practices
  • Expand our accounts into new team and functions
  • Be willing to own the successes or failures of your work and proactively work to iterate and improve.
  • Obsess and understand that the details are not really details, they are the foundation of your contributions.


  • You are on the PST timezone
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
  • 0-2 years of experience in enterprise sales
  • You’re a self-starter with the passion to actively seek new approaches.
  • You understand the nuances inherent in your work and how to help customers comprehend and use a new product in a new category.
  • You are capable of articulating and advocating for your point of view.
  • You possess an acute inclination toward the difference between a good and bad experience for our users.
  • You work towards the best possible solution, not just the easiest one.
  • You’re an excellent communicator. Whether writing for a new feature or presenting your work to the team, it’s simply part of the process for you.
  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Bonus points if

  • You have experience with conversational interfaces
  • You have experience with customer-facing roles

  • Laptop of your choosing
  • Work from Italy up to 2 / 3 weeks a year, if you would like to. If the current pandemic lasts more than a year, your weeks will be rolled over to the following year.
