Last month, Botsociety held the first Voice UX Meetup in the bay area at our offices. We enjoyed meeting many of you in person and learning about the ways you’re approaching voice dominant interactions. We laughed, chatted, and networked but most importantly, we shared many new ideas and ways to approach the unknown.
Diana Lee from Wizeline explained to us the importance of testing your voice designs before releasing them to the public to identify early problems or conversation breaks.
Next, Bhakti Bahtia, a Human Centered Design and Engineering student at the University of Washington took away some of the technicality voice UX. She shared some of her best practices and highlighted that coding skills are not necessary to design engaging conversations.
Lastly, Stefan Kojouharov, founder of Chatbots Life stopped by to talk about the upcoming Chatbot Conference in San Francisco. He previewed a few of the panels like “Chatbot Design and UX” and “Chatbots as Vertical Solutions”. This was very exciting as Botsociety CEO Vittorio Banfi will be speaking at the conference on September 19th.
We’re looking forward to the second Voice UX meetup that will take place on September 12th, at the 500 startups office. Kaeya Majmundar from Gwynnie Bee will be speaking about how she designed a bridge between physical and digital interaction using Alexa.
We are always very excited to learn about new and interesting projects. If you’d like to speak at one of our events, feel free to reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
